Caring for Houseplants
You don’t need to be a big expert to help your plants grow and thrive in good health. In fact, you don’t need to do much at all. With just a little attention to lighting, watering, and temperature, your plant can be a beautiful reminder of the person who gave it to you for many months to come.
Remember, when caring for houseplants or office plants, it is recommended to take the plant to the sink, water it thoroughly, and allow excess water to flow through the bottom of the pot and drain out through the holes into the sink, bucket, or saucer. Leave the excess water as it is.
All fallen leaves or petals should be removed from the soil of the pot in order to prevent the development of pests and bacteria.
To make the leaves shine, wipe them with a damp cloth or simply purchase our leaf shine spray and enjoy glossy, vibrant leaves for a long time.
Caring for Different Types of Houseplants
African Violet
Anguloma
Aglaonema is a very hardy houseplant that survives in a wide variety of environments. It prefers medium to low light in a warm room with slightly higher humidity, but it will adapt to a slightly drier and brighter location (Aglaonema is excellent for a bedroom or bathroom).
Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, but avoid letting it dry out completely, and gently clean the leaves on a regular basis.
Succulents & cactus
Cacti and other succulents are accustomed to desert environments and prefer bright, indirect light or direct sunlight. Water them thoroughly and evenly, allowing them to dry out completely between waterings. If the soil is too compact and causes water to run off, place the pot inside a larger container, fill with water up to the soil level, and leave the cactus in the container for 30 minutes.
Cyclamen
Cyclamen leaves are heart-shaped, and the flowers resemble tiny colorful birds hovering above.
Cyclamen is sensitive to both overwatering and underwatering. Maintaining moist (but not wet) soil is the key to keeping cyclamen alive longer in the home or office. Allowing the soil to dry out will prevent growth and the opening of closed buds.
Remove wilted flowers or leaves immediately to make room for new buds to open and grow. Cyclamen prefers cool temperatures and bright, diffused light.
Dieffenbachia
While your ficus is adapting to its new home, it may lose a noticeable amount of leaves. This is normal. With proper care, it will begin to thrive again in a short time. Simply remove fallen leaves, remove yellow leaves that are still on the plant, and cut off dead or dry branches. This will help light penetrate the plant and encourage new growth.
Be careful not to overwater your ficus. Feel the soil with your fingers—if it is dry to a depth of 2 cm, it is time to water. If the soil feels moist, wait another day or two.
Keep in mind that the ficus will require less water during the winter months. Place it in bright, indirect light, away from large windows that cause temperature changes during the day. Fertilize monthly, but not during winter.

Philodendron
Native to the jungles of tropical America, the philodendron prefers medium, indirect light and performs excellently in a well-lit spot with indirect light. (If new leaves develop smaller and longer, it is a sign that the plant is receiving too little light.)
Keep the soil moist and allow it to dry between waterings. During winter months, when growth slows, keep the plant slightly drier. Overwatering will cause leaves to yellow, while underwatering will cause them to wilt.
Philodendrons tolerate the natural humidity found in most homes, but due to their tropical origin, they respond especially well to higher humidity. Therefore, mist them regularly with water to simulate jungle conditions.
Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily)
With dark green leaves that grow long—sometimes reaching several tens of centimeters—Spathiphyllum produces beautiful white flowers.
These plants can weaken easily, so it is important to maintain soil moisture, ensure good drainage, and empty excess water from the saucer or base to prevent root rot. Place in a bright area with indirect sunlight. Low light can slow their flowering cycle, while too much direct light can burn the leaves. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust.
So if you are looking for houseplants, you have come to the right place. Here you will find a wide variety of plants for the home or office, in the highest quality and freshness.
